Devin Daquila is a Southern California grown dancer. She started dancing at the age of 4 and started competitively dancing at the age of 10. Devin is trained in tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, modern, and pom. Devin Daquila has taken class from multiple professionals and trained at multiple conventions such as Nuvo and Radix. She was captain of both her middle school and high school dance teams, and started her teaching journey by assisting Sumner Merrill, who guided her for a year and a half before she became a faculty member.
Devin’s own teaching style has been shaped by observing numerous teachers and their teaching habits. This fall, Devin will attend Cal State Fullerton where she will be a part of their 17x UDA Division 1 National Champion Dance Team. She is a passionate dancer and teacher who is excited to share her grit, determination, and motivation with others.
